Welcome to the 2020 Auto Body Experience

we proudly use ppg envirobase

PPG Envirobase is a waterborne paint system. Water based systems are thought of as safer and more environmentally sound because fewer VOCs are emitted than with their solvent-borne counterparts. The industry has been moving in this direction and most modern vehicles are refinished with this technology at the manufacturing level.

Other benefits include:

  • The use of water instead of solvent means lower toxicity and flammability , creating healthier and safer workplaces

  • Less coating is required to cover the same surface area as a solvent-borne coating

  • Increased performance with better adhesion to different substrates, flexibility and robustness

As a leader in the refinishing industry, PPG products go through a series of technical tests to ensure that they meet strict OEM certification criteria and deliver color accuracy, performance and finish that is as close as possible to the original factory finish.

Using OEM-approved systems from PPG means that we can serve our customers with confidence. PPG products are proven to meet the requirements of even the most complex finishes.

OEM Certified

Because most OEM collision programs require that a certified technician be based at the collision facility, Certified collision facilities employing a PPG-certified technician can also provide paint warranties separate from factory warranties.

Original equipment manufacturers for which PPG has technical approvals and/or where PPG may be accepted for use to satisfy OEM certification include:

*The term certification may also be referred to as authorization or recognition by OEM manufacturers.
